CD Projekt RED has proudly announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 1.7 million copies to date. The Xbox 360 version was recently released in April whilst it debuted on PC around a year ago in May 2011. Due to the success of releasing on both platforms, a Mac version is now also in development and is currently scheduled for release this fall.
Due to the success of The Witcher franchise, CD Projekt RED now has two teams working on different triple AAA role-playing titles, one of which is called Cyberpunk and was announced at their Summer Conference.
