THQ Australia was originally tasked with developing a video game based on the mega blockbuster movie known as The Avengers. The project was unfortunately cancelled and no game was released. A new domain name registered suggests a new video game is now being planned.
An Ubisoft contractor registered the domain name of “avengersbattleforearth.com” according to Fusible. If the game comes to fruition, it will be called Avengers: Battle for Earth.
Considering the movie is breaking box office records worldwide and made a cool $80 million on its opening day in North America, it makes sense that a video game should be made. It would make a lot of money that’s for sure.
