The currently PC-exclusive titles Serious Sam: Before First Encounter and Serious Sam Double D are headed to Xbox 360 this fall. BFE will debut on Xbox Live Arcade without any changes, but the same cannot be said about Double D. Xbox Live Arcade will be receiving Serious Sam Double D XXL.
What does the “XXL” mean? It means more new content! New features, missions, enemies, challenges, weapon upgrades and, most importantly, co-op are among the notable additions. Nathan Fout, founder and lead designer at Mommy’s Best Games, had the following to say on the subject:
Our fans loved Serious Sam Double D when it launched on PC but some rightly felt that the shooting grew repetitive and the Gunstacker could use more depth… We’ve taken all this to heart and are incorporating more gameplay variety and, of course, adding the biggest fan request—two-player co-op!
