Last Tuesday Max Payne 3 launched, and since then, fans have been complaining about and reporting a variety of problems with the game. The patch is 59mb and currently there is no word on what was changed or anything along those lines, but surely Rockstar will give a change log within the next day or so. We will update you as we get information, so keep an eye on JustPushStart for when info becomes available. Hopefully if anything, many of the current bugs are addressed, not to mention the recently discovered modded lobbies.
Here’s what definitely has NOT been fixed in multiplayer:
1. Spawning is still atrocious, and will still get you killed more than anything else.
2. Freezing is still an issue.
3. Loading screens still get stuck sometimes between rounds in Gang Wars.
4. Loading times are still abysmal.
Rockstar was too busy readying their $30 DLC pass to remember to make the multiplayer good, I guess.
I’ll tell you what changed. I can’t access multiplayer at all due to “parental control” or some jazz despite the fact that I was playing fine yesterday and have never touched that setting on my PS3. Call of Duty and Dead Space 2 multiplayer work fine. Thanks Rockstar! Best patch in gaming history!
Since I’ve updated, I’m getting a message telling me I can’t play on line because of Parental Control issues with my PSN account. My brother tried his and the same thing happened. Anybody else experiencing this?
Way to F*ck up this game and patch and ON THE PS3 AGAIN! Seriously I regret buying that PoS console more and more each time I use it. What? Parental Control? I’m the only user on the system. Seriously WTF…

What needs to be fixed: Mini 14, incredibly overpowered. Crutch weapon for kiddies in Rookie TDM
What needs fixing: the FAL, incredibly underpowered, I bought it thinking it would be better than the AK, it has 10 less rounds per mag and no noticeable damage difference. C’mon Rockstar, you gotta step it up.
How about fixing the fact that it takes forever for me to get into a game. and when i do, it’s only me with 3 other people…. I WANT FULL 8 v 8!
I have a problem with pushing the cabinet in the burning office building,i repeatetly push the green triangle button but the cabinet won’t fall down so i can pass further
nobody is online i have to wait ours befor i can play… help :S
First off, great job Rockstar. Max Payne 3 is one of my favorite games of the year. Theres only two problems im having currently; First is loading times online, second is slight audio glitches offline. Namely, on the cutscene when you a giavonna board the bus on chapter 10, its lagging. If anyone else can help, please enlighten me, thanks.
