After having the original release date of January, Anarchy Reigns was randomly delayed till July. This depressed many Platinum Games fans, but considering little was known, it also made a lot of sense. While this is no longer true and has a demo set to release next week in Japan, it seems the US / EU versions have been delayed.
According to Platinum Games:
Finally, we break the bad news about Anarchy Reigns US/EU release date – SEGA has decided to change the date to TBC. While our work on the game is finished, localized, and ready to go, as publisher, SEGA gets to make the final decision as to when it is released. The Japanese release date, however, remains unchanged for July 5, 2012.
This choice seems rather odd, but the Japanese version will have all of the languages included. Also keep in mind that TBC, does not mean the title has been canceled. Check back next week for our hands on impression of the Japanese demo.
