Skype is pleased to announce today that when the PlayStation Store updates later this afternoon, PlayStation Vita owners can finally download the much awaited app onto their handheld.
Available for both the 3G/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi models, PS Vita owners who wishes to use their handheld device to call someone is now possible, even when they’re in the middle of gaming through the use of the front and rear camera. One of the features the Skype App has is the background mode, where PS Vita owners have the capability to “pause” a game, conduct a call and then return to their previous activity – that way they will never miss a call.
