Club Nintendo Japan Offers New 3DS Pouches

As you may or may not know, Club Nintendo has a history of being very slow with updates. Since the Nintendo 3DS’s release, we’ve only seen one item for it, but that’s no longer true. Club Nintendo Japan has released a Mario and Luigi hat shaped pouch for your 3DS. If you don’t own a 3DS, Nintendo says it will fit any device, but the Nintendo DSXL.

Overall they’re a pretty interesting item, though nothing next to the XL Stylus’s. No word on a US release, but we should be getting an update on February 29th, so ideally they will appear.

this has been on the european club nintendo for a long time, i’m sure it must’ve been on the japanese one too, it says it’s for the ds but the 3ds fits anyway

You would be surprised. The US version offers digital games and I don’t believe the others offer that. US also got a game card case for the 3DS I don’t see in Japan and shoe laces I never saw there. Transversely EU has a sun shade, animal crossing bag, wii fit hat, animal crossing watch, kirby pouch (Japan has and I want), etc. The three regions have their own offerings and it’s not uncommon for one region to have something for a LONG time before another.
