When fellow cogs fire up their 360s today, they’ll be prompted to download the third title update for Gears of War 3. Epic has stated that this update will resolve many of the issues that gamers have informed them of, including that one hiding spot on Mercy, as well as the ghost camera issues.
The new update will allow players to prime a revive for down but not out teammates by holding Y before approaching, much like priming a weapon pickup. Additional changes include random quickmatch playlist map order, non-Versus mode weapon swaps in Horde mode, and default weapons on each map will revert to to what they were when the game initially launched instead of the current weapon assignments found in online versus multiplayer matches.
