Square Enix has registered a new trademark that has sparked quite a bit of speculation.
“Sleeping Dogs” was picked up by the company as seen on the European database, OHIM. This has led many to believe that the title will be seen attached to a future Kane and Lynch game.
Rumors began to pick up at the end of last year that a third installment was on the way when IO Interactive started hiring for “a yet unannounced 3rd person game with strong cooperative elements.”
With E3 not too far out, I’m sure we wont have to wait long to see if Square Enix or IO confirms this rumor.
