PlayStation Vita’s ‘Welcome Park’ Detailed

Among the numerous applications that are pre-loaded on the PlayStation Vita, the one that stands out is the free game, Welcome Park.

Welcome Park on the PlayStation Vita is a game designed for new PS Vita owners wanting to know the features the handheld can do. Playing through the mini-games offered by Welcome Park, there are trophies that players can unlock by completing certain requirements when playing the game.

There are four mini games that Welcome Park offers:

DIGIT CHASE

Using the Vita’s touch panel, new PS Vita owners can play this mini-game to see how responsive the touch panel is. The players’ reflexes will be tested here where they will touch numbers in order as they are timed.

Snap & Slide

Snap & Slide will let you capture an image using either the front or rear camera of the Vita. Once you have taken a picture, you will play a mini game where you will have to arrange in the right place as you are timed.

Skate Axis

PlayStation Vita has gyro-tilt controls. To test how responsive the gyro controls are, you can play the Skate Axis where you will use it to guide a skateboarder in the game to avoid getting hit by the balls.

Sound Loop

Did you know that the Vita has a built in microphone? As Stone Cold would say, hell yeah! Well, to test that they’re working, you can play the Sound Loop mini game. In this mini-game, players can create their music by recording. It’s fun and not as complicated as the other three.

Don’t Forget!

Welcome Park has a decent amount of trophies that are unlockable. It’s easy to achieve all trophies, however there is no Platinum trophy on this one.
