Mega gaming website IGN has named PS3 exclusive Resistance 3 its best “Shooter of the Year”.
Resistance 3 won against some very stiff competition. The other nominees in the category included Crysis 2, Rage, Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
This goes to show you how underrated Resistance 3 is. When we reviewed the game back in September, we gave the game a deserved 4.5 stars. Too bad the game didn’t sell as many copies as its predecessor since the main focus for FPS games this year was on Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3.
IGN’s people’s choice awards are yet to be named. Presumably Battlefiled 3 or Modern Warfare 3 will win the people’s vote. Although it’s funny to note that Killzone 3 wasn’t nominated for PS3 Shooter of the Year from IGN. Killzone 3 is a FPS game available only on the PS3…
