With a number of PS3 (and some Xbox 360) games require installations, it’s good to know when you don’t need a large mandatory installation to play a game.
Video games are getting larger with each generation and that is why some PS3 games require you to install some of the data onto the hard drive to heavily reduce loading times etc.
Thankfully, the installation size for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is only a minuscule 7MB. Not that this is surprising considering Final Fantasy XIII only had a small installation size too.
Come January 31st and February 3rd when the games come out in the West, gamers can simply put in the disc and instantly start playing the game. No install waiting times required!
