Thanks to RadioPlayStation, you can actually play your own music while playing Batman: Arkham City on your PS3.
Apart from Gran Turimo 5, Sony has not implemented an update that allows you to play your own music while playing your PS3 games. This has been a feature seen on the Xbox 360 ever since it launched back in 2006.
It’s quite amusing that out of all the games on the PS3, Batman: Arkham City allows you to play your own music while playing the game. This feature should be included in sports games but it’s not. I listen to a wide range of music and I find it hard not to laugh if I play Taylor Swift while beating up thugs in Arkham City.
You can try it yourself if you haven’t done so already. Just press the “PS” button and navigate your way through the XMB bar to select the music folder. From there, you can play your own music on your PS3 harddrive while playing Arkham City.
Let’s hope Sony takes note of this so we can use this feature on any PS3 video game we play.
