DICE Comments On Fixing The Battlefield 3 Open Beta

DICE has recently commented on why they have decided not to fix issues, in the multiplayer beta for Battlefield 3.

Answering a question about fixes or patches for the Battlefield 3 Open Beta, DICE responded that, “while we would like to patch the Open Beta, DICE is currently focusing its available resources on polishing the retail game.” They also revealed that the feedback from the beta is shaping the development of the retail version, which is where the fixes are being made.

Have you tried out the open beta yet and what are your opinions on it? Comment below.

  1. This beta just sucked. And no I’m not even talking about glitches, bugs, crashes, etc. I’m talking about the fact the fact they released what was nothing more than a COD-clone on the smallest, most non-BF bottleneck map they could fucking find, all to appeal to the casual trash MWfags that they know can’t handle destruction, vehicles, or any map bigger than a playground. Nothing but recon kids spamming their auto-snipers, maybe three people per round actually trying for the objective.

All that aside, there is ONE factor which will determine if I buy: if they re-did the announcers voices. Because right now they are so bad, and strained, and fake, and repetitively annoying, I can’t do more than one round before quitting because of it.

  2. Yeah it’s better that they finish the game that we will be playing for a whole year than a beta that is going to last for only a week.

  3. The beta is bad ass I am level 23 right now but there seems to be many level 40s spawn camping everywhere outside befre you get into the tunnels other than that the map is good I wish there were some light vehicles but eh whatever really smooth gameplay much better hits on the target when you fire like before in bad co. 2 you could unload a clip into enemies and they wouldnt even die I see myself gettin way more kill streaks in BF3 I dont care if they dont fix it Im gonna buy it whenever it’s out
