You heard it right folks, you will finally be able to control the psychotic murderious Good Guy Doll in your very own Chucky video game.
TikGames has announced that they are working on a video game based on the late 80’s early 90’s Child’s Play movies about a serial killer who transfers his soul into the latest kid’s craze of the time, a Good Guy doll in order to escape the cops. Charles Lee Ray, better known as the Lakeshore Strangler, then goes on a killing spree in an attempt to transfer his soul back into a human body. How much of the movie plot will actually make it into the game is unknown.
Alex Tikman, co-founder of TikGames said, “We’re proud to be able to bring a fan-favourite movie character, such as Chucky, to gaming platforms. Fans have been asking for a Chucky game for years and, soon, gamers around the world will be able to enjoy highly-entertaining, interactive, downright gory experiences with this brand.”
I’m not sure who these gamers are that have been clamouring for a Chucky game for years but if you guys are out there, this should make you very happy. A remake of the Child’s Play movie is currently under developement, hopefully this isn’t just another cash grab by Hollywood and this team is given the time they need to make a truly remarkable game.
