Men in Black: Alien Crisis Announced

Activision has announced that they will be bringing Men in Black: Alien Crisis to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii next month. The game is going to be a tie-in with the upcoming film, Men in Black 3, and both will release the same day, May 25th.

In order to immerse players further into their MIB role, all three versions of the game are compatible with the Top Shot Elite controller. The Wii version is also able to use the Zapper and the PS3 version can utilize the Move. So, what’s your mission? Players assume the role of a MIB trainee, Peter Delacoeur, as he tries to stop aliens from destroying the earth. He won’t have to take on this mission alone though. Two-player split-screen co-op is available on all platforms, but if you’d rather blow each other apart, then check out the four-player “hot-seat” competitive mode.

Check out this list of the recently announced features:

  • 3rd Person Combat Tactics: Dodge and take cover as you battle hostile aliens in this action-packed, 3rd person rail shooter.
  • Investigation and Interrogation: Players must obtain vital intelligence by examining locations and interrogating suspects.
  • Nothing is What it Seems: Aliens often use clever disguises. Employ MIB investigative techniques to detect hidden threats.
  • Diverse and Customizable Weapons: Wield an awesome assortment of alien firepower including MIB classics like the “Noisy Cricket” and unique firing modes such as “freeze rays” and “antigravity grenades.”
  • High Octane Action-Oriented Experience: Pursue and escape fierce aliens in intense cinematic chase sequences.
  •
Since the game is out next month, I’m sure Activision will be providing screenshots and videos to show off to interested gamers. So check back soon for all that content.
