Patrick Liu, a developer at DICE studios, part of the team working on Battlefield 3, says that he sees potential in the Wii U, enough to where he’s not going to waste a simple idea on it.
He says, in an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine, “We definitely see potential in the Wii U, but I wish I had the breakthrough idea for how to exploit the new controller. We’re definitely looking into what kind of new stuff we can do with Wii U.”
The devs also say that they have not yet gone to work on a version of Battlefield 3 for the Wii U, yet, focusing on finishing the game for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the PC. Many are betting on this as a step forward in the road to the Wii U becoming a hardcore console.Battlefield 3 Developer Actually A Fan Of The Wii U,
