It was announced earlier, that a Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 game is coming. It’s now been confirmed its only available on a tangible disc.
For gamers who already own a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 you won’t be able to purchase Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in DLC form. You will have to buy the game again in November for the RRP of $39.99 if you want to play the new features the game is offering.
Siliconera interviewed the game’s producer Ryota Niitsuma and he said “we’re only thinking about releasing a disc version”. He went on to say “there is so much data in the game” so it would have been difficult to release it in DLC form.
