RAGE is a post-apocalyptic FPS game currently in development by id Software who claim that it will be “arguably the best looking game” and that the game is “running at two twimes the frame rate” of other “best looking” games.
In their most recent addition to their developer diary id have bravely boasted that “We are arguably the best looking game on the consoles today and the point is we are running at two times the frame rate of what other people might argue is the best looking console game”.
A very bold statement but from the trailers it seems that RAGE will follow this route, if not surpass it. id Software have been known for their well polished games; RAGE looking to be a perfect example.
