Analyst firm Cowen & Company has estimated that pre-sales for Battlefield 3 has already reached 11 million units.
This has increased from 8 million units which was the previously estimated figure. EA has announced pre-order figures for the game match those of Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops which has shifted over 20 million units thus far.
There’s a chance that Battlefield 3 could even outsell Modern Warfare 3 at this rate although this is just an early estimate. Only time will tell which of the these two blockbuster games will come out on top.
