With the Rugby World Cup starting on September 9th, a release date for Rugby Challenge is still yet to be confirmed.
As posted on the official Rugby Challenge Facebook page, a release date has yet to be finalized. However the team is still planning to release it sometime in September 2011.

There is a fair bit of speculation on the release date of Rugby Challenge. It is not our intention to hold this date back, nor is it a marketing ploy, we simply do not know the exact date of release at this time. At this stage, we are planning for a release date sometime in September 2011.
It seems odd an official release date for the game has not been confirmed this late in development. As aforementioned, the Rugby World Cup draws near and it will be best for them to release the game before it starts. One has to think this may affect sales for the game as another Rugby game called Rugby World Cup 2011 is also on its way and has a confirmed release date of August 26th, 2011.
Rugby Challenge will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with a PSVita version coming next year.
