During its “Summer Days” presentation, developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that it has the intentions to release The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on Xbox 360 by the end of 2011. The developer promises that the console version will not “compromise” quality in its conversion, and perfers that it be called an adaptation instead of a port.
Not much is known about how the game will actually play, and if it will still maintain the impressive graphics seen in it’s PC sibling. More information is expected to be unveiled next week at E3. The developer has also confirmed that the Xbox 360 version will include all PC updates that have taken place since the game’s launch, which also include patch (v1.2) which is set to arrive tomorrow.
