Following the attack of the PlayStation Network servers a couple of weeks ago, it seems that hackers has another victim as the SOE’s Station.com servers are down due to a recent attack.
The intrusion that happened recently does not affect those games published by SOE. However this intrusion does deal with the station’s forums. When you visit their Official Website you will be greeted with the following message.
“We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday).”
Last week SOE announced that they had been conducting an investigation.
“We have been conducting a thorough investigation and, to the best of our knowledge, no customer personal information got out to any unauthorized person or persons”
