PSN “Still on Track for This Week”, Possible to be Up Tomorrow

When Sony had their press conference last week in regards to the PSN Outage that happened on the PlayStation Network servers, they informed everyone that the restoration of the service will begin sometime this week.

As the week comes to a close in just couple of days, we’re still not sure on when or what time the servers will be back up. However, a Sony employee in Sony Computer Entertainment Europe revealed today that the last update that SCE gave in their conference still stands which is, ‘Some PlayStation Network services will be restored this week.’

For journalists who received a copy of Brink on the PlayStation 3, a scheduled multiplayer session is set for tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, by tonight, Sony will at least open the PSN servers to allow the players play the online portion of games such as SOCOM 4, and Mortal Kombat.

Below is the statement that MusterBuster of SCEE Forums stated;

Hey guys,

I would love to be able to give you new information, and right now there isn’t any available.

I’m asking lots of questions but at the moment all I’m being told is that the “last update still stands” eg – Some PlayStation Network services will be restored this week.

The very second I hear anything new, it will be passed on to you. I’m also keeping a note of your feedback throughout this outage, so keep posting it.

Much love,

MB
