Who thought the Dragon Ball series on consoles are dead? Well you are wrong as Namco Bandai revealed today that a new game is set to release this year.
In an announcement that Namco Bandai revealed today, a new Dragon Ball Project is already in development and will be released this Autumn in 2011.
No further information were revealed. As always, we should hear more on this title pretty soon from Namco Bandai games.

I love DBZ (and DB) but I want a console action RPG with workable controls.
OR I want a fighting game that is a shot for shot remake of the series with filler fights and long stare downs or power ups replaced by gameplay-fights. And going super saiyan should actually affect damage, defense, power-up more than it has so far. Why is Kid Goku doing 90% (at least) damage of SS4 Gogeta? HMM?! At least in the story mode, give transformations some real meaning…
This game could be 10+ discs with a pricetag of $200 and people would still play it.
I would like a DBZ game, where we would have choices…like if you lost a batle againts someone, eighter retry, or let the story move on, with something diferent happening.
I also wanted every single fighting character in one game.
But this is probably gonna be the Dragon Ball Budokai HD Collection!
