Two self proclaimed “veterans” of the group Anonymous say they were behind the attacks on Sony.
Speaking to the Financial Times, the pair has stated they were behind the attacks on Sony which was dubbed “OpSony”.
This comes after Sony said in a letter to the U.S. Congress that it had found evidence suggesting Anonymous’ involvement.
It’s hard for Sony to pinpoint who is exactly responsible with different members of Anonymous claiming it was not them. But then again, Anonymous isn’t a group of a few guys as they are a movement.
One member of Anonymous says its unfair to blame Anonymous on just one or two guys.
Regardless of who is behind the attacks, Sony is yet to get the PSN back online which has been 16 days and counting.
