Cave Story 3D Releasing in Europe this Summer

European gamers hoping to get Cave Story 3D for the Nintendo 3DS should worry no more as NIS America revealed today that the game is coming in the European territories this summer.

As mentioned before in our previous post, Cave Story 3D is the remake of the hit Cave Story that previously appeared in other platforms such as the Wii Ware. Players can expect the game to be in full stereoscopic 3D, improved visuals and a lot more.

NIS America announced today that they are working together with Nicalis, Inc. to develop an all new action game, Cave Story 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. Cave Story 3D is scheduled to be released this summer in Europe.

“I feel great possibilities working with Nicalis. They’re both skilled and dedicated with making no compromises. I think fans of the original Cave Story will be pleased with this latest incarnation.” said NIS America Producer Jack Niida. “Also through this partnership, we would like to bring new life to the legendary game and make it accessible to a new range of audiences.”

Since its foundation in 2003, NIS America has operated under the philosophy of “entertainment for all,” and brought games that satisfy its many customers. NIS America introduced its first video game Phantom Brave in 2004, and since then have been constantly releasing multiple video games and anime. Now the company plans to introduce its first 3D title in 2011.

For North America, Cave Story 3D is set for release this June 28th. More on Cave Story 3D as the release date approaches.
