With a game as big as Crysis 2 hitting on the PlayStation 3 next week, just how big is the game’s data compared to other high profile first person shooter games?
It has come to JustPushStart’s attention that the disc data for Crysis 2 is only worth 5GB. Not to be confused with the PS3 install (which is 4GB), but the actual full data of the game is only worth 5GB. This is rather small considering Killzone 3’s data was worth 41.5GB as reported by us earlier.
Unless Crytek was able to compress the data of the game heavily, this could mean that Crysis 2 is a short game or a lot of recycled environments are re-used.
We’ll have to wait and see if this is true or not but it’s looking very likely. Be sure to check out our review of the game on Tuesday, March 22nd.
