Screen Gem acquired the rights to produce a film based on Capcom’s popular Devil May Cry series.
According to Variety, the script will be written by Kyle Ward and will be about Dante and his quest for vengeance as he “avenges his mother’s murder by killing off demons”.
Screen Gem previously produced the Resident Evil movie series which to date has grossed more than $580 million in worldwide.
Let’s hope this movie adaptation turns out to be a success unlike many others which turned out to be garbage.
