Treyarch have finally made a good will gesture to PlayStation 3 owners by making a unique playlist on Call of Duty: Black Ops. Many players will say that Nuketown is one of their favourite maps in the game, if not the best map in the game; well Treyarch has picked up on this and created a playlist named “Nuketown 24/7”.
Nuketown 24/7 is a limited time playlist which is for 6-12 players and as the name suggests only uses the map Nuketown: the playlist mixes game modes up, although does not include team death match. This playlist is currently exclusive to PlayStation 3 but as it is listed as a “limited time engagement” this may change. If this changes we will keep you up to date.

Oh wow! This makes everything better! All the disconnection errors, the commando knifing and frame rate drops (which still happen, especially when a Napalm Strike gets called in) are forgiven. Allow me to speak for all PS3 gamers when i say thank you very much for giving us a limited time playlist of a map where the enemy will eventually start spawning behind you and take out nearly all your team. Thank you sooooo much Treyarch. Here’s a better idea for your next game. MAKE SURE IT F****** WORKS!

I couldn’t agree with you more Ryan, because of this limited time nuketown playlist the lag is all gone and the disconnection errors are no more. Thank you Treyarch for putting your heart and soul into making the ps3 version of Black Ops. Bullshit aside this stupid playlist Treyarch made doesn’t make up for anything the ps3 owners are going through. Bloody hell at least give us the first map pack for free >:(

Im a ps3 user and i honestly dont give a shit that we are getting a map pack one month later 15 bucks a month is like what xbox users pay to be online though i am disappointed with the shitty severs and lag they arent doing it on purpose
the reason the playsation is so rubbish online is because it is free. i own a xbox but i think everybody should stop complaining about ps3 because it is the cheap alternative to xbox. you only get what you pay for.

Im very sorry douchelamp but the xbox 360 (the console i own) will be getting all CoD maps first for the next 3 years as microsoft signed a contract with activision. Sorry mate ;)
Look, I like playing COD as much as the next guy, but a month’s delay isn’t that big of a deal. Plus, I can just gameshare somebody on my PSN friend’s list and get the map pack for free to make up for the wait.
And PS3 is definitely not a cheap alternative. Aside from out of game voice chat, there’s really nothing that I notice that makes Live much better. PS3 gives you more bang for the buck simply put.
And with all these exclusives coming out for PS3 in 2011, COD might as well become an exclusive on the 360 for all I care. With SOCOM 4, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Twisted Metal, Uncharted 3, and Agent coming out, I’ll probably forget about COD. :)
@Cirno4Lyfe- How is getting a map pack one month earlier than the competition kissing Activision’s ass. You obviously don’t know that any DLC worth getting is always going to come on the Xbox first simply because Microsoft has the pockets and because fans (aka customers) of the Xbox are USED TO paying for stuff.

This Nuketown 24/7 thing was a huge boost in exp for me. All the noobs played it and its easy to get 50k + From a game of HQ with the double exp which its has been this weekend. (I believe Nuketown 24/7 has now been taken down).
Treyarch really has no control over lag etc. the reason that other games like Battlefield etc can run without lag is they have SERVERS. We don’t. Both Xbox & Ps3 use a P2P System meaning it uses the host’s connection and has no other central server to connect to. Get a shitty walmart connection host, you get a laggy game, simple as. Its Activision’s decision whether or not to provide dedicated servers for the game.

I can see how you might find that annoying, but no need to get hostile. In terms of whats the best console, its all down to what you take more stock in. Ultimately I will admit that the Xbox has a better online system, but this is due to payments. However people only mention the maps because they want it now, over later. When you consider PS3 gamers gain nothing for getting it later. Why wait? Its not a matter of it working, its not a matter of it not being done, its not a matter of Sony holding it. Its completely a matter of M$ paid, and Sony didnt.
