3DS Update Might Allow Video Recording

In the latest edition of Iwata Asks deals with the up coming 3DS system, and features Shigeru Miyamoto and Shigesato Itoi.

If you scroll though or read the questions on page 6 “3d Photos make you happy” the conversation switches to the possibility of 3d video since space is no longer an issue.

Miyamoto:
But Iwata-san also wants to include 3D video in the future! (laughs)
It comes with a 2-gigabyte card, but you can, for example, use a 32-gigabyte one as well.
Iwata:
I think it will be fun if we’re able to include video recording capabilities with future updates.
Iwata:
Itoi:
I have no idea, but when you take 3D photos and videos, is there some kind of capacity limit?
Oh, an SD Card! Like two gigabytes?
Iwata:
An SD Card goes in this slot.
Itoi:
It comes with a 2-gigabyte card, but you can, for example, use a 32-gigabyte one as well.
While this is in no way confirming the feature, it does mean seeing it in the future wont be surprising. If you do decide to look into it, it really is a very informative little interview with a bit of information on several Nintendo products.
