Even with Gears of War 3 being delayed until fall 2011, Epic Games has planned to announce the first details of their next project soon. The developers behind the Gears franchise have recently revealed that the brand new IP will be announced in early 2011 and everyone should keep their “eyes peeled” during the upcoming GDC which will take place from the 28th of February to the 4th of March 2011.
Epic’s Cliff Bleszinksi added to the announcement to further its anticipation “Call of Duty was crafted by the original Medal of Honor guys. Gears of War was crafted by the original Unreal Tournament guy. I look forward to creating what’s next.”
