EA has today announced that NBA Elite 11 has been completely cancelled. Eric Brown from EA confirmed that the only NBA title being released by EA this year will be NBA Jam which will still be releasing for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
While the Elite series hasn’t been ended, future titles will be developed by EA Tiburon instead of the current developer, EA Canada. Has EA looked at figures and decided it can’t realistically release this title due to costs or just deciding to focus more on the NBA Jam title. Hopefully we will soon find out.
