Harmonix announced the release date for the much anticipated release of Rock Band 3. The North American date is set for October 26, 2010.
Harmonix also stated that the game will have a simultaneous release worldwide. It previously said “Rock Band 3 will ship simultaneously worldwide this Holiday 2010 in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other territories..”. So it looks as if other players around the world will be able to play the game shortly after the North American release.

GameStop: If you pre-order the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game you’ll have access to three downloadable songs at launch. They are “Burning Down the House” by Talking Heads, “My Own Summer” by Deftones and “Blue Monday” by New Order.
Amazon: If you pre-order the Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii version you’ll get an exclusive in-game guitar. Gamers who pre-order the Xbox 360 and PS3 version will get a further bonus as they will get a $10 off discount on a future game purchase at Amazon.
Wal-Mart: Pre-orders for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii versions will receive a $10 eGift card for a limited time.
