Electronic Arts Inc has taken a massive step towards blowing all football game competition out of the water with its latest deal.
EA Sports has signed a partnership with the Barclays Premier League, to bring it exclusively to fans through FIFA 11. While EA are quick to point out “Partnering with the Premier League further establishes EA SPORTS and its FIFA Soccer franchise as the ultimate, authentic soccer gaming experience”, it does leave few thinking lack of healthy competition from PES 11 may harm the football genre.
EA is working with broadcasters to improvement broadcast analysis and they believe with this partnership it will be fully enriched for FIFA 11.
Whatever happens it looks even at this early stage that FIFA 11 is this year’s football game to watch out for.
