Cole MacGrath returns to the PS3 for another shocking adventure.
The announcement was made in the form of GameInformer’s July issue cover. This follows the recent Portuguese Official PlayStation Magazine’s teaser for the game and even a domain name registered last month.
The July issue will give gamers a first look on the game as well as details regarding the new city, new powers, and new gameplay. inFAMOUS 2 is also yet another major PS3 exclusive to be revealed even before E3, alongside Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2. Kinda leads me to believe that Sony must have more mammoth E3 surprises up their sleeve.
Looking at the cover, I’m not really a big fan of Cole’s new look… if this is indeed a sequel I mean. I have some theories of my own, but I’d rather not say them due to inevitable spoilers. Regardless, inFAMOUS was absolutely brilliant and one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played this gen so I’m definitely excited for this.
GameInformer’s July issue should be coming out next week and more details will be revealed at E3 as well. Stay tuned.
