SCEA announced today that Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow, originally released on the PSP back in 2007, is coming on the PlayStation 2 this June 1st.
Gamers who played Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow on the PSP hoping to play it on the big screen can finally do so as the game will be coming out on the PS2. Similar to Dark Mirror, Logan’s Shadow will be a straight port with no added features whatsoever. Controls however are tweaked making it more easier for the Dualshock 2 controller. Taking advantage of the shoulder buttons of the Dualshock 2 controller, gamers can now swing out and aim using the L1 button making the combat more intuitive.
For comic fans out there, the very first Syphon Filter digital graphic novel will be coming out this Summer. Syphon Filter: The Opposition Effect is a story that bridges the events in Dark Mirror and Logan’s Shadow. More will be revealed when the comic becomes available on the PlayStation Store this summer.
