Yoichi Wada, Square Enix CEO has provided some clarification in regards to the statement about Final Fantasy Versus XIII being on the Xbox 360.
The clarified statement came from Wada’s updated twitter account.
Here is his latest tweet:
“It looks like the ‘net is heating up. Versus on Xbox? What I said at the earnings press conference was just that until a formal announcement is made at the announcement time, all points about all titles are not finalized.”
It does not really say if the title will not be on Xbox 360 but there is always a possibility it will. We may have to wait till E3 to find out more details. Although Final Fantasy Versus XIII is yet to be formally announced even if it will appear at E3. If more clarified information is available we’ll keep you posted.
Honestly I hope it doesn’t. I was already set on getting the PS3 version if it goes multiplatform then I’ll have have to get both copies and eat discount Ramen for the entire Month. :(
