Following in the footsteps of Media Molecule’s critically acclaimed LittleBigPlanet, United Front Games’ ModNation Racers is the second title to use the “Play.Create.Share.” adage. Like with LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers will have exciting level creation tools and user generated content for online sharing as its main features. Players will be able to create their own custom characters and vehicles as well as race tracks which could then be uploaded online and shared with fellow players. Boasting highly customizable and user friendly track creation tools including terrain, weather, lighting, and weapons options, ModNation Racers seeks to set a new standard for kart racing games.
Thanks to TheSixthAxis, the ModNation Racers trophy list has been revealed and trophy hunters now know what to expect to achieve that coveted platinum trophy. ModNation Racers is set to release May 25, 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
