Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – More Facts Detailed

The recently concluded press conference that celebrates the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker revealed a lot of interesting details that relates to the game. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is said to be the fifth game in the Metal Gear Solid series that takes place after the events of Snake Eater that was released on the PlayStation 2 years ago. This is not the Metal Gear Portable Ops you have played but a lot difference and can be considered as the successor of the MGS series.

Now that the conference is over, let’s take a look on the new things we learned on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. This week is a big week for us here in Japan so expect a lot of goodies to be revealed on Peace Walker.

– Peace Walker takes place after the events of Snake Eater. It is in the year 1974.
– Similar to Portable Ops, Naked Snake can recruit up to 300 allies and put them on your base.
– Just like every Metal Gear Solid games, there will big bosses that Naked Snake will be fighting. They are big machines!
– The Co-Op mode of Peace Walker allows interact with a friend to share life, items, and a lot more.
– There are an approximate of six big bosses.
– Naked Snake will be having a cross-over with the monsters of Capcom’s Monster Hunter. Monster Island!
– Monster Hunter tunes can be heard while playing Peace Walker
– Peace Walker will have a collaboration with Assassin’s Creed II
