After the surprise announcement of Square Enix’s Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory for the Nintendo Wii, new details have surfaced about the upcoming title. Set to release this Summer of 2010, Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory is a remake / port version of the classic game that was released in the arcades.
Let’s take a look on the new details of the much awaited Dragon Quest game exclusively on the Nintendo Wii:
– You are able to create your own character. This is similar to the personalized avatar we’ve seen in the past. This includes changing the gender, eye color, etc.
– The Hero (You), aims to become a champion in a city called Ryujincho. Think of this like a Pokemon Trainer trying to be the Pokemon Master.
– There will be mini-games where the Wii-Remote can be used as a sword.
– Collect a physical card and scan them through the Nintendo DSi. Square Enix will release a DSi Ware application that will convert the system into a scanner.
