Several sources have shown that the star of Shenmue, Ryo Hazuki, is set to appear as a playable character in the upcoming racer Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
In game, he drives a motocycle and uses a forklift for his All-Star move.
It is doubtful that this is pointing to a sequel, but at least we know that Sega have not yet forgot about the character, despite his 8 year absence. Sonic and Sega All-Star Racing will be released on February 10, 2010 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, and PC platforms.
