Bio: I manage this site and get everyone to work. I served the US Navy but not that long since I got discharged for stupid reason. Currently studying to become a Registered Nurse and a bit of journalism on the side. One of the things I like to play are mostly RPGs and Action / Adventure games. Bio: Began gaming at a very young age, sometime around 5 or 6. My first experience in the gaming world was playing my uncles NES, and ever since then I was hooked. From the swashbuckling point and click adventures on Monkey Island, to the lightening fast platforming action in Sonic the Hedgehog, gaming was now my life. Megaman, Mario, Sonic, Final Fantasy, all became a part of my regular vocabulary. The PlayStation had the biggest impact on me, and launched me into a lifetime of RPG love. I sit here now in the year 2010, with a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, gaming every chance I can get. For me, the game will never stop, until I hit the final game over screen and lay my controller down forever.

Bio: I was born and raised in southeast Michigan, and lived in northern MI for seven year s before relocating to the west coast. I have been playing video games since I can remember; my grandmother had an Atari and, eventually, an NES. Although I couldn’t always necessarily afford the systems as soon as they were released, I always weaseled my way into a friendship with someone who had the latest system. The first game that changed my life, and the way I thought about games, was The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past for the SNES. I had really enjoyed the first two Zelda games for the NES, but something about the 16-bit graphics and the score by Koji Kondo… it made me realize the potential that gaming had, made me truly excited about games, and consequentially hooked me for life.

I’ve spent the last 15 years or so amassing an almost embarrassing collection of consoles, handhelds, games,
memorabilia and game-related junk. Some of my most prized possessions are my extensive collection of NES games (over 150 total) and my video game magazine collection (I have at least one from every year since 1991). Most of the stuff I have acquired either through friends, garage sales, and thrift shops.

On a more personal note, I am a 27-year-old late in life student, and besides gaming as much as possible, I love movies, music, writing, computers and the graphic arts. My preferred genre of games are action/adventure style RPG’s, but I also love real time strategy, MMORPGS, music games, and action shooters. Some of my favorite games (keep in mind, it’s like choosing favorite children at this point) are: The Legend of Zelda series, The Elder Scrolls series, Bioshock, The Grand Theft Auto series, Mass Effect, Shenmue, The Resident Evil series… and I shouldn’t have even started this list. Bio: The name’s Josh. I reside in central California. I have been gaming since I was four and my passion has only grown since then. I have owned nearly every console since the Sega Genesis, but my current collection has been scaled down to the PlayStation 3 and the PSP Go.
