When it comes to movie-based games, I try to get away from them as much as possible due to the fact that most of them suck. The last movie-based title that I played was Toy Story 2 and that was released on the PSOne back in 1999. Sure, I loved it because I was a fan of Buzz Lightyear during those years. Now that I'm in my twenties, I gave myself a try for another Disney movie based game; this time it's Alice in Wonderland.

EA’s new IP Dead Space was easily one of the best games of 2008, so when it was announced that we’d soon be getting another game in the series, obviously people were excited. People were admittedly less excited when it was said to be a sequel, and the excitement only continued to drop when they revealed that not only was it on the Wii, but also would be a rail shooter.

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is one of the action RPGs that I can consider unique in a weird way. Since it was announced back in 2008, it was one of my most anticipated titles to be released on the Wii. Its amazing visuals are one of the reasons why I find the game to be so amazing. As an RPG fan, I was excited and impressed by the gameplay that was presented in trailers before the game’s release. With the game finally in my hands and as I draw upon completion of the game, does Fragile Dreams live up to the hype?

Previous to the theatrical release of Iron Man 2, the video game adaption of the film was released and gave promises of a better flight mechanic, the ability to play as War Machine, and a story penned by The Invincible Iron Man writer Matt Fraction. I personally was looking forward to playing this game after seeing the movie thinking it would capture the speed and power of both characters just like the film did.

To celebrate Halloween this year, XSeed brings us a haunted house simulator game for the Nintendo Wii that will make you cower in fear as you play Ju-on: The Grudge. Inspired from the movie Ju-on (The Grudge), prepare yourself to enter places full of curses and nightmare.

When it comes to WiiWare games, only a few can be considered remarkable and one of the best ones I've played was LostWinds. It was short but it was worth every penny. After finishing LostWinds, it felt like I needed more. Releasing this week, Frontier finally brings the sequel to the WiiWare virtual console for the Nintendo Wii.

Many Mega Man fans will remember how Mega Man 9's difficulty and cheap deaths made it a game that only appealed to seasoned veterans who had been with the series from the beginning. A year and a half later Mega Man 10 has been released and it looks to gain a wider audience by toning it down a bit in certain areas while still pleasing its loyal followers. The story here is simple.

Overall Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a satisfying experience and a must buy for any action or RPG junky looking for a Wii fix. Most likely, if you’re into those types of games, you probably have more than a Wii already, but still Muramasa is a diamond in the rough. The Wii has been plagued with tons of shovelware and cheap knockoffs, so to get a great game that no only delivers on the action, but will also last a while is a welcome treat for any hardcore gamer. While it may not be the most in-depth RPG, it’s easily one of the best on the system.
