Capcom has released a new trailer looking at the Cody DLC character for Street Fighter V. Wrestling fans will notice at the beginning who stars in the trailer.
Street Fighter fan Kenny Omega from New Japan Pro Wrestling stars in the trailer playing Cody at the beginning of the trailer. On the phone, he speaking to none other than Xavier Woods who is currently wrestling in the WWE.
Here’s a brief description for the Cody character in Street Fighter V: “Cody Travers has served his time behind bars, but has now become the new mayor of Metro City. Although quite busy with his everyday duties, he will arrive in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on June 26 as the fourth character of Season 3! Cody’s move set in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition resembles those from his previous appearances, but altered to fit his new spiffy style.”
Cody can be yours to purchase for $5.99 by himself or you can unlock him using 100,000 Fight Money. Alternatively, he is a part of the Season 3 Character Pass that costs $29.99. The Character Pass also includes the likes of Sakura, Blanka, Falke, Cody, G, and Sagat as playable characters. Check out more in the trailer below.
