Vice City came out in 2002 and it was based on the real life location of Miami, Florida. Well it sounds like the next game could be revisiting the sunny city of Vice City, although we might have to wait for a very long time until Grand Theft Auto 6 eventually comes out.
Grand Theft Auto 5 came out for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013 and it will soon be the fifth anniversary of the game. Despite being released nearly five years ago, GTA V is still selling like hotcakes and Rockstar still earns lots of money from it thanks to GTA Online.
While we wait for official news on GTA 6, the only thing we have now are rumors. YouTube Channel ‘The Know’ have an anonymous source from Rockstar that could have big news about the upcoming game. It’s said the game will be based in both Vice City as well as a location in South America. Players will be able to fly and visit between the two locations.
The game has a codename of “Project Americas” at the moment and one of the playable characters could be a woman. This will be cool since we have never seen a playable female in a main GTA video game outside of the player’s own GTA Online mode.
The sad news about the rumor is that Rockstar has only started development on GTA 6 and the game might not even come out until the year 2022. The Know usually has a good track record, although there’s still a chance this leaked info could still be fake. Anyway, you can make up your mind yourself by checking out their video posted below.
