Dissidia Final Fantasy NT came out earlier this year and it featured many characters from the popular Final Fantasy franchise. However, there were still many fan favorites that were missing in the game’s roster which disappointed some fans.
Thankfully, Square Enix has promised that six more fighters will be joining the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT roster later this year. The first announcement for a DLC character will be made next week.
As reported by Gematsu, the announcement for the new fighter will be revealed on March 13th, 2018 over in Japan. There are many clues as to who might be included.
This person will be making their debut in a Final Fantasy Dissidia video game and it will be a male. The other clue about the character is that this person will be part of the newer games in the series post FFVII. Many of the game’s developers will be making the announcement via a livestream.
The person I’m hoping to see the most if Balthier from Final Fantasy XII. He could be very useful since he uses guns as his main form of attack. Final Fantasy XIII-2’s Caius is also a good candidate as he was very hard when you had to face him in the other video games.
Anyway, the announcement is not happening until next Tuesday. Stay tuned with us here at JPS so we will tell you who the new fighter is!
