Bandai Namco has released a new trailer that shows how Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta kicks butt in the new Dragon Ball FighterZ video game that is being released later this month.
Bandai Namco posted the following about the new Vegeta trailer: “The Prince of Saiyans has surpassed his limits once again! Overwhelm your opponents and show them the awesome power of a god!! Are you brave enough to take on this mighty warrior?”
If you are not familiar, Super Saiyan Blue is (currently) the strongest form that Vegeta can obtain in Dragon Ball Super. Goku is the only other Saiyan in the game that can achieve this form as well. The proper name is actually Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SGSSS) but was shortened to Blue.
If you pre-order Dragon Ball FighterZ, you get early access to both Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and Super Saiyan Blue Goku. You can go all out and let these two fighters battle it out in the video game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ has many warriors, although it still hasn’t kept up with Dragon Ball Super since development started pretty early. The game at launch will not have Jiren nor does it include Goku new ‘Ultra Instinct’ form which he got a few weeks ago in late 2017.
Despite this, many people in the fighting game community are looking for this release thanks to its impressive visuals and addictive gameplay. The 2D fighting game mechanics are a nice change to the 3D style adopted in the Xenoverse series.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018 in both North America and Europe. You can check out the awesome new trailer posted down below.
