PS4 Wins November 2017 NPD Sales Although Xbox Gets More Revenue

November 2017 was a healthy month for both Sony and Microsoft as the PS4 and Xbox One consoles sold really well in North America according to the latest data collected by the NPD.

As reported by VentureBeat, the PS4 sold the most consoles that month with sales increasing by 52 percent compared to the same period last year. It was also revealed that November 2017 was also the month that Sony sold the most consoles ever for the PlayStation 4.

Microsoft has nothing to worry about because the family of Xbox One consoles earned more revenue than Sony. This is thanks to the launch of the Xbox One X which goes for a higher price of $499.

The Nintendo Switch also had a decent month that is sure to carry over into December. It’s always great to see the gaming industry thriving each and every year.

As for video games, Call of Duty: WWII was the best selling one with Star Wars Battlefront 2 in the runner up position. Call of Duty: WWII is also the best selling game of 2017 thus far with Destiny 2 right behind it.
