Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 didn’t materialize well when it came out two years ago. This hasn’t deterred Tony Hawk though as he wants to make another video game in the future.
In a YouTube video posted by Wired, a fan asked on Twitter if Tony Hawk is interested in making another game in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skate series.
Tony Hawk replied with: “My contract is up with Activision. But if we could come to some new agreement, absolutely! I’m in.”
There is a vacancy in the video game market for more extreme sports games. EA has been mute when it comes to Skate 4 and other video games haven’t popped up since the failure of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skate 5.
Hopefully both Activision and Tony Hawk can sign a new contract very soon so they can redeem themselves. The franchise is too fun just to be left behind.
